Turf and Topsoil’s LAWN is the ideal turf for any general landscaping project, it’s versatile specification is not only hard wearing but also provides an excellent appearance with good resistance to diseases.

In “The Ultimate lawn” we use 23 Cultivars from 5 different grass species. Each cultivar has been carefully chosen to produce a turf sward that is high density, hard wearing, with a good disease resistance whilst also providing excellent year round colour and a clean cutting appearance.

Turf and Topsoil LAWN‘s hard wearing versatility ensures a lawn that is not only easy to care for but also easy to lay in 1m2 rolls. It’s quick establishment requires less initial watering providing you with a lawn that is ready to be enjoyed within two weeks.

Technical Specifications Turf and Topsoil’s LAWN contains:

• 10% Chewings Fescue
• 15% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
• 15% Smooth Stalk Meadow-grass
• 20% Perennial Ryegrass
• 40% Slender Creeping Red Fescue

Turf and Topsoil Drought Turf Applications:

• Drought prone areas on golf courses, domestics lawns, parks and open spaces
• Heavy traffic areas on golf courses and sports situations

Turf and Topsoil’s DROUGHT has the Waterwise species of Rhizomatous Tall Fescue included with Tufted Tall Fescue and Smooth-stalked Meadow-Grass, to produce the ultimate hard wearing drought tolerant turf.

The 3 species provide the best possible combination of grasses to provide a turf which will withstand drought and very heavy traffic.

Good disease resistance and excellent year round colour produces a lawn which will please those who have water restrictions or limited irrigation. The turf will withstand mowing to 20mm, but will take on a courser appearance if left to 25-30 mm

Turf and Topsoil DROUGHT contains:

• 20% Rhizomatous Tall Fescue
• 15% Smooth Stalk Meadow-grass
• 65% Tufted Tall Fescue

We also provide two grades of top soil:

• Screened top soil which is suitable for making up ground and levelling prior to turfing
• Blended, certified soil suitable for vegetable production, flower beds and tree and shrub planting
• Available for collection or delivery in jumbo bags or loose
